Our Story: The Rize Up Fist
The raised fist, framed by wheat stalks, is more than a logo — it’s a flag. It was born out of struggle, purpose, and a need to make something beautiful out of chaos. The fist represents resistance, solidarity, and the raw human drive to rise — no matter what’s stacked against you. The wheat symbolizes nourishment, community, and the act of feeding others — the quiet rebellion of creating instead of destroying.
Together, they tell the story of how Rize Up Bakery came to be:
A Black-owned bakery born during a time of protest and uncertainty, using sourdough as a form of expression — a way to heal, connect, and spark conversation. Each loaf became a symbol of resilience, each bake a declaration that food can be both art and activism.
The cracked, weathered look of the print reminds us that strength doesn’t come from perfection — it comes from persistence, from showing up every day and doing the work with heart and purpose.
What It Represents:
This isn’t just a shirt — it’s a statement.
It’s for the dreamers, the doers, the ones who refuse to stay down.
It’s for those who believe that something as simple as bread can spark change, build community, and start movements.
Rize Up means more than baking.
It means standing for something real.
